Postbridge clapper bridge, Dartmoor
Postbridge is a lovely location on the moor, with miles of the Dart river to explore and Bellever Forest on the doorstep too. The Dartmoor National Park visitor centre is just up the road from this spot. This is the other side of the clapper stone bridge to my other Postbridge illustration.
I believe the plant in the foreground is Hemlock Water Dropwort (with its seedheads rather than flowers), which is a very toxic plant, so leave it well alone!

My Local Landmarks series are a collection of hand-drawn illustrations that I have chosen to draw because they mean something to me - maybe I just love a building or the character, or have memories of fun family trips there, or I think they represent my home county of Devon in an interesting way.
